I have a 1997 z260 with a evinrude 112. I newly bought two new batteries and connected them and notice that i plugged them up wrong because it started sparker really bad, after I reconnected them properly everything on the the boat work fine except my trim and my ignition and I cant even get the boat to the do post start up exam either, I think I blew a fuse or threw a breaker, but I dont own a clue where they are located, anyone have a clue??

Answers: I would be especially concerned that you did more damage than a fuse. I've seen anything from diodes to entire electric wiring harnesses fried by reversing the polarity on batteries.
I would contact an auto electrician to atleast check it out. Trust me, you do not want to find something wrong- at deep-sea.
