Your belt broke. If it is newer this should not over steam your car seeing as 99% of cars today hold elcetric fans. It would however inflict your battery o die because you are not charging it because the disciple belt broke.
replace the belt and jump start the vehicle and let it run for a while. It shlould be biddable after that.
it sounds approaching the belt finally broke, and is not spinning any of your accessories (alternator, hanger-on, water pump, power steering, nouns condition)
You'll probably need to replace the belt, and I don`t know the tensioner, or idler pulley(s) or both.
Hopefully you did not overheat the engine, because that can front to catastrophic damage.
Answers: when you rev-ed up the engine to stop the squeaking fan you car engine have over heated..when you are hearing the squeaking nouns the fan be not actually turning perchance because of loose fan belts..consequently the cross sign on the engine logo on the dash board indicates that you have a broken engine due to over heating..this could nick a long process reviving your engine many engine parts have to be replaced a skilled mechanic will do the job for you. I'm sure you won't fix it your self
