I have a 02 impala that for the past month have taken me thru 3 new batteries.. For some intention one day it was insensible in the am. But when it was jump off it was honest all day long. It go on like that for about 3 days. Then i put a unusual battery in it. It worked honest for a week then one am it would not start. But once again when jumped past its sell-by date it worked all day long. So after around 3 days I put another new better battery contained by it and it worked good for another week. Now here we are again and the car will not start contained by the am but once jumped it will work all morning. I have no trunk light or no frothy under my hood. My alternator and starter were also checked and are ok.
I believe that something is shorting my mobile out and my mechanic also does not know what else to do? At night there are no lights on anywhere on the coup¨¦. I never had this problem in the summer solitary since it has been cold and i live surrounded by Texas so cold to us is 32?? I am so confused any thoughts on how to find out what is causing this?

Take the car to an auto electrician and ask them to check and see if anything is drawing current from the battery-operated while the car is off. Something is draining your freestyle power, and it's not always something obvious approaching a light.
Answers: Have your mechanic remove one cable and hook up a volt meter that also reads amps between the cable and freestyle terminal. Then he should be able to trace the problem. It sounds like near is a power draw somewhere in the system. If you live in or around Denison, TX after email me and I will try to be of further help.

it sounds like you have a parasitic draw. Now what to be exact,
there is a electrical componet-module that is not going to (sleep). or a low power state and is drawing more amps on the system. across the world anything more than a .05 amp draw can easily discharge a battery. in that is always going to be a small charge on the system to keep memory going. finding these can be a stomach-ache in the butt. take the sports car to a gm dealership to get the problem taken care of.
i can`t stand to say it but if your mechanic doesn't know about this
he shouldnt be touching your coup¨¦.

I would hold the electrical system re-checked, especially the starter draw. If all components check good I suspect you enjoy a current draw running down your battery. Have a professional check the electrical system, not a parts store.
it is most feasible your alternator. Take it off the car.Checking it while running will only just show it's charging or not.Take it to the local auto parts store and have them check it. Sometimes when they go fruitless the will back drain the battery when you shut the engine rotten.
If you can't get it off the sports car, take a volt meter with the engine bad put the hot line of the meter on the alternator case and ground the black telecommunication. If I'm right you will get a current reading from this.

Please explain to me my automatic motor...
I have have a very similar problem with my '95 Buick Skylark. I enjoy replaced battery after battery and in attendance also are no lights draining my battery. My husband has check cords (I want to articulate fuses) with his amp machine and couldn't find anything wrong. He didn't walk through all of them..but most of them. My car have been to several mechanics and no one could find out where on earth the drainage was coming from. I live in Iowa where on earth its currently -20 degrees and every morning I know that I have to dive my car. Or if it sits for four or more hours, I have to lunge it. I can't jump it in the morning and run on it adjectives day like you can. I plain and simple will be getting a investigational car soon. Good luck with that problem. I've be dealing with it for 3 years now.it is most feasible your alternator. Please Help Gas Gauge Ruined!?
yes, see if you can find an ammeter or amp meter to borrow and check the current draw of the car after you shut it stale. mechanic should have one but dont know if he would know what he was looking at. an electrician would be more obliging if you know any and they would have the meter. if you have more than 1 amp after ignition have been of and doors shut for 15 minutes you have a problem beside an accessory not shutting off (such as an amplifier for the stereo, cranium rest dvd players etc)it sounds like you have a parasitic draw.
