Hello i have a 96 pompous am gt 3.1L last weekend we have plenty of rain and unsuspectedly i awoke to dampen in my floor both sides front and passenger spaces. Car started fine went to the coup¨¦ wash to damp vac it out car started fine. On the instrument back my ABS insubstantial came on followed by the seatbelt, emergency brake lights and they be flashing on and off. so my first thought be water have gotten to my electrical system
and caused the problem. nifty foward 2days later dance to start the car and nil,it cranks but wont start? Carpet is still alittle wet but my cross-examine is, is it electrical or what? Thanks in finance for any feedback . thank you
Answers: Lots of wiring lower than the seats and mat. Depending on where you live achieve it to an auto electric shop. Could be expensive but they will find it faster than most. I work in the collision repair industry and when we acquire flood damaged vehicle they just win towed to the junk patio as totals. It's very expensive to gut a sports car and replace all of the electrical electrics. Water in the harness can create shorts adjectives over the vehicle. Good luck.
FYI. Check ALL of your ground wires and make sure they are making GOOD CLEAN contact near clean metal.
