99 Grand Prix GT 160K+miles
After snow and freezing rain the night back, I try and turn on my car to warm it up and it doesn't turn over.
Tried jump it, no difference. I thought the cold froze my gas [which was low but not THAT low] or froze any moisture possibly in the vein.
Try pouring HEET into gas tank. After waiting, the car struggles but turns over, next after about 30 seconds, shuts bad. Now when I try and turn it on it makes a funny sound but you can inform it's still trying to turn over.
Tried again recently, and after a struggle, it turns over, stays on for another 30 seconds or so after shuts off again.
Battery is good. Oil Change Recently. I park on the street outside my apartment, don't enjoy access to any "heaters" of any kind. Low cash, can't afford tow truck/mechanic. New to Columbus, don't know frequent people yet. Have to work contained by the morning and it's getting dark soon!
Any answers would be helpful.
Gas reservoir might be ok but gas lines might be frozen. Good luck
Darlin, I ponder you need to learn what "turn-over" scheme. I suspect your engine is turning over but not starting to run.

how do you know batterys good? if u say radio works that money nothing...a low bad mobile can work radio and not have power to turn starter...does starter crank emgine ? in motor talk that means turn over...do you hear click when u turn knob? more info will help...you say u jump it...why if the battery is good??e correspondence me if u want/need more..

In the winter if your car is parked outside always park the coup¨¦ with the rear lapse pointing north west or true north. It keeps the bitter cold air rotten your crankcase.
Answers: Sounds resembling really low fuel pressure at the injectors. Fuel delivery can be fine but the pressure regulator may be failing big time. If you know your stuff-you might try crimping off the fuel return splash to see if this solves your dilema. Gm fuel pump output and pressure regulation can really screw-up durring single digit temps. I had to clamp-off the rubber portion of my fuel return line next to a pair of vise-grips to regain normal engine operation during a severe cold-snap one winter.

If you have moisture in the gas tank/line it take a while for it to work itself through the system after applying dry gas/Heet. I would try some more and if that doesn't do it try some starting fluid/ether. Sounds to me like the problem might be the fuel pump. If only you had a $14.00 volt meter to check the mobile voltage. If it's under 12 volts it needs re-charging. If the freestyle is over 5 yrs. old, time for a new one.
