Car keep dieing!?

My car is a 1983 chevrolet berlinetta camaro 5 litre V8.. It have this problem where it will run purely fine when i fisr start it but after awhile of normal driving it will bog down as if its going to die.. i notice the rpms wont go up when i try to administer it gas when its doing the bogging down. also, it will die at a stop light or when surrounded by idle after its be running for 10 minutes or so. I changed the fuel filter added fuel system cleaner got grease changed, air filter blah blah blah but it still runs close to ****!! whats wrong with it?

Answers: I gotta simply warn you, the worst place surrounded by the world to get suggestion on a carbureted car is the internet.

Quadrajets enjoy a feature where on earth the secondary venturis won't interested at all until the motor warm up. If I were you, I would first determine if that's working. I'd also take a look at, with my own eye, whether the choke be opening when the motor warm up. I'd determine whether the problem occured when you are driving on the primary venturis only.

Then at that point you know whether you can isolate it to a choke problem or a problem beside the secondaries. If not, it could be a lot of different things.
