For the past couple days it squeals really loud, like a large pitched whine. People up the street can hear it, like that kind of loud. Right very soon it's only doing it for the first couple minutes that I drive, stops when I brake, and again, after the first couple minutes stops completely whether braking, driving, etc. Doesn't do it when I'm parked. I vaguely remember this occurring a few years ago but can't remember what it was. I just took it to Les Schwab second week to have my tires rotated & they said the brakes were honourable (?), so rules that out which is what I thought it was. Sounds like its coming from the drivers side but I can't put in the picture if its from the front or back. It is LOUD. I have a 98 Honda Accord. Any accepted wisdom? thanks!

if its in the engine nouns its your belt, theres water leaking on to them or in attendance loose and need to be tightend, that or there worn and want to be replaced. if its coming from the wheels then you requirement to change your breaks. but sounds like your belt.

have your serpentine belt checked as it sounds loose or bad, also enjoy all the pulleys checked that the belt drives as one of them could have a doomed to failure bearing. it could be brake dust. take some brake cleaner and spray the calipers and rotors.
