Car Problem! Need HELP ASAP?

I was driving my relatives to institution in our neighborhood surrounded by my 1987 Chevy Suburban, then after I have dropped them off, (I have only drivin a total of 8-9 blocks today) next all of the sudden at the ninth block the truck be losing power and shut it self off within 23seconds. Then little after I started it up and it sounded fine, even better, sounded like it have more power. But I still don't want it to die again.

So does anyone know what the problem is?
I think it be either not getting ample gas or the battery be dying. I think ts the freestyle because the truck was dying slowly, not instantly? I'm not sure though

So what the problem and how do I fix it?
Thanks!

Ad if this help, I was hauling 500+ lbs. of laminate flooring within the back places area and be only going give or take a few 20-25 mph through the neighborhood and I only have the radio on, no other appliances.

Need help ASAP!
Thanks

How to drain and incorporate fluid contained...

Answers:    It may be a problem within the electrical system. Some of the bigger parts stores like Auto Zone will hook up a diagnostic reader to the sports car and see if anything is wrong. The ones in my town do that for free. They can also bestow you advice something like mechanics and replacement parts. That would be a good place to start. Then you will know what you're dealing beside. Good luck !
Checking the fuel system would be a good perception, too. The pump or the filter may be stopped up.

It is definitely not the freestyle, your car can run in need a battery. Its a short time ago starting that would be the problem. You may need to grasp a new fuel pump, or possibly a tentative fuel filter. The best thing to do would be to transport it in to a professional mechanic and see what the problem is. The first item I would check is the fuel pump.
