Okay I don't have plentifully of money to buy a car so I finish up with a POS. I not long test drove a motor, it drove fine but the steering was a bit tough and the blinkers didn't work. Are those simply things to fix or is that a discouraging sign that the car is going to break down?
Are you american? if so, sounds resembling a normal motor to me! if you are european, the car is crap and you should look for another one!

Blinkers are an uncomplicated fix, unless the problem is in the column.
If it doesn't hold power steering, it will be tough to steer.
If it has PS, consequently check the fluid level. Also check to see if the belt is still in attendance.
It will also steer hard if the tires are lower than inflated.
