My friend's car doesn't work right. It won't go above 40, though this problem have been long in coming; it used to a moment ago stall when you first tried to accelerate. It's as if it isn't getting enough fuel. Also, it is much worse when it is humid outside. What could this be? Any accepted wisdom?
Humidity is not the cause unless it is so humid the car is below water. Your inclanation that it is not getting enough fuel may be correct. Have the fuel filter changed and the fuel system pressure and volume checked by a mechanic.
