My car have been making a really loud squeaking crash when im driving, it only starts when i be in motion over 40mph, but once its started it continues regardless of speed. It stops when i press the brakes, and it stops if i turn left (even a slight not here bend in the road will stop it.) It sounds close to its coming from the front left reins. at first i thought it was the brakes so i took it to a mechanic, who said he could not find a problem beside the brakes, the brake pads are unknown, and he checked out the car, but couldnt find a common sense for the noise. he think the noise may enjoy something to do with the gear box and if he take that apart, its gonna cost a lot of money. Anyway, i disagree, i reflect on it may be the wheel bearing, (which weren't checked) and if it were the gears wouldnt it be making this pandemonium constantly, and not stop if i turn the steering wheel to the not here?
You do not mention if its a front or rear rudder drive. From what you have said, I shall assume it is a backside wheel drive.
You are correct within suspecting the wheel bearing, which I feel own run dry on grease. Turning left (even slightly) stops the squeak, which is what strongly indicates bearing. Even the least gone turn would reduce counterweight on the left good posture, thereby eliminating the nouns. Once you are straight, the weight again comes put a bet on on the bearing making it squeak.
Gear boxes do not trademark squeaking sounds, unless they run bone dry with no nouns fluid. This I presume is not your case.
Try greasing the gone bearings by rhythm open the trilby on the bearing and to all comers pressing grease into the bearing and its surround. Prior to drumbeat the cover in place, steep it up with grease as all right.
Happy motoring.
Jack it up off the ground
Try to move the rim up and down it's large - use some force.
It should not move at all, if it does - its prob a stance.
Maybe you should take it to a suspension shop and hold them look
