It's only when the heater is on and I press the accelerator it squeaks but if the radiator is off the car is fine.
I enjoy a Suzuki Sidekick 93 with 103k miles on it, I know its old but runs fine, if the space heater is off.
Not a major problem but still would similar to to know what's going on with my car.
-Thank you I own a 1999 Honda Prelude and it does the same thing. The hullabaloo is probably coming from one of your belts. Most likely the best that runs your air compressor. I'm not sure how yours is set up but my belt runs from the crank to the compressor later the alternator. You might try replacing it or tightening the tension on the belt. Thats what the problem is with mine... but I'm a moment ago too lazy to fix it

Answers: Sounds close to a belt squeal. Especially because it only makes the disturbance when accelerating.Does car own A/C if not it probably is alternator belt. If it has A/C it could be that belt if it make the noise when defrost is selected as the compressor is unavailable then.
