Mention your year make model engine size mileage and if you've have an ignition tune up or not or what service has be done recently. If after driving on the highway a accurate distance, you get bad and come to a stop and the engine immediately stalls, your transmission's Torque Converter Clutch (TCC) solenoid may call for replacing depending on what kind of saloon you have.

Stalling is a unexpected thing. It is usually fuel not getting to the engine. It could be a simple item like you're not pushing surrounded by the clutch. Just taking your car to a shop doesn't guarantee anything. Be sure you are working next to a competent mechanic. A tune up should fix the problem you are talking going on for. Replace filters and run a scan if it is post-1997 (earlier for some cars). Follow the service almanac and replace parts that need varying.
Of course your other option is to maintain driving and never stop...
