Alright first off I don't know much about cars but here is what's going on. A week ago it was really cold and the car wouldn't start up. I rolled it into my garage(it be parked outside) and the next day it started up fine. I consequently took it to a car repair place to see what was going on and they replaced the starter. The cars grease plug or something like that was also stripped and so alot of grease was coming out so they replaced that as well. I get my car back and everything be working great until the battery sign lighted up. The headlights went dim and the cd player completely stopped working. Then the sports car completely died. I had to have someone bounce me and then it started up and I made it home. The next morning I tried starting it and it started but only made it like a mile up to that time doing the same thing. It seem like to big of a coincedence for this to happen right after the repair, did they not put something final the way it was suppose to be?

Answers: The most probable grounds is the alternator has gone out and taken the battery near it. Did the shop check the charging system after "diagnosing" the Starter. However you might check wire from battery to Starter (Red) and Black telecommunication from battery to ground.(engine) Also some vehicles require a second ground chain from engine block to frame.
