my 2005 nissan needs it's 60,000+ mile tune up and new tires. i received coupons to grasp it done at the dealership but i'm wondering if i would be better off taking it down to post to have it done. i know nought about vehicles and i know if i shift to the actual nissan dealership they will try and rip me off and tell me within is stuff wrong with the vehicle that HAS TO be fixed when it really doesnt. my husband is deployed and i dont want to get walk all over being a woman going into a mechanic shop. if they update me something is wrong i wont be able to ask my husband and dont want to get ripped bad. any suggestions?
actually dealerships dont work that way, they are expensive. but they own so much business where they wont waste time making up second-hand goods. they want to fix the problem then go on to the subsequent customer. plus they make more money selling cars then they do fixing them. buy books on auto mechanics and coach yourself.
Answers: As long as you can show that genuine Nissan parts were installed on your saloon you can take it anywhere you want to or even do the work yourself. The warranty cannot be denied if the tune up is done on time and using the Nissan parts. A unloading works fine for your parts proof. Keep it in the warranty records for your sports car.
For Tires I use Wal-Mart. With their warranty and practically every town has one you just can't move about wrong.
