my car adjectives of a sudden wont go into 1st or 2nd gear, powerfully i think it go into 1st on the sick but feels approaching im pulling away in 3rd. nearby was also a slight chugging disturbance recently but not engine chugging something else?

Answers: Clutch cable might need tightening. Best direction is to register on a vauxhall owners club forum as others may know exactly how to fix this and could explain it better than i could.
It sounds like selecter rods/shafts within gearbox gone, "syncromesh", suggest getting second opinion on the gearbox, earlier attempting to repair/replace, repair or replacement, (If this is the problem), isn't very cheap. correct luck.
