can anyone tell me if the smell am getting from my car after running it for 10mins is the catalytic converter, smells close to engine with no oil contained by,or the smell you get from speedway bikes
Have you checked you oil or if a speedway bike is implicit?
Doubt it, cats usually smell like rotten eggs/stink bombs. Sounds more like something is getting hot. Checked your coolant? Oil?
How long has it be making this smell? Often you get a smell like desperate eggs from a cat, that not to say that the smell you have is anything to verbs about. My advice would be to check the engine grease level just to craft sure that you are not loosing any engine oil either through the exhaust or from a escape.
Ja.

get someone to look at the exhaust you may own picked up a plastic bag wich sticks to the exhaust and melts its impressively smelly for sometime but will dissapear eventually
Doesn't nouns like the "rotten egg" smell of a cat, but something's obviously wrong. Could your clutch be slipping, or your brakes be binding? Both of these can wreak a "hot" smell. If you've recently topped up the oil, possibly some got spilt on the engine, is there any smoke? Or enjoy you recently replaced the exhaust, as they can pong a bit for the first few days.
Answers: is it an older saloon? you may have an exhause leak or smog/egr filter somewhere.so you would be smelling raw exhaust that may smell like a street bike. cats smells approaching eggs...pretty nasty, lol.

Have you only just put coolant or oil in the sports car.If so did you spill any.Could be dripping onto the exhaust manifold or down pipes.Worth a look to see if there is something leak onto them. This will cause the smell as it is burning off.Doesn't nouns like the "rotten egg" smell of a cat, but something's obviously wrong.
