Ceramic 12v vehicle heaters - are they really any well-mannered for Winter?

I bought one from ebay.... (ebay search*: ceramic coup¨¦ heater)

Can't include linky cause Y/A doesn't give the impression of being to post up qus with links surrounded by it anymore.

The reason for getting one be to get the sports car warmed up and relief defrost windows for the first 10 minutes of driving, up to that time the engine proper gets warm up for car's own heating system to hijack. (then unplugging the ceramic heating system unit)

However plugging it in for first time.. it doesn't seem to be to produce much heat unless your paw is close up to it (6 inches), and at a distance it feels cool nouns.

Even if it's cool at a distance... hot air rises I suppose so do you reflect they work for the job contained by Winter - or are they just a con?

If you own one can you tell me whether you find it adjectives?

Where the heck do I find a...

Answers:    About all they're apt for is slowly and eventually defrosting your windshield. They just put put around 150 watts or 500 BTUs. A regular car electric fire puts out around 60,000 BTU's, more than the heating systems of some houses.

You can instantly defrost the windshield by spraying near starter fluid. Wouldn't recommend it on the inside, might put you to sleep and not too healthy. It won't crack your windshield as would the application of bake though.

Has anyone have a push button chisel...

I think your coup¨¦ heater will melt up your car long until that time that ceramic electric fire does any good.
