I want to purchase the oxygen sensor online because it's cheaper, but I am not sure if it's the upstream or downstream. The car seem like it doesn't want to get moving like it should. How do I know which oxygen sensor is cause problems?
Answers: You can go to Autozone, and they will hook up a code reader, which will consequently pinpoint which sensor is bad (for free). My Ford have 4-the reader gave a code pinpointed the doomed to failure sensor (right side, upstream) which I quickly replaced beside no more problems. I bought a Bosch sensor for about $40. Remember to disconnect a mobile cable for a few seconds to allow the reprimand code to be cleared from the computer.
