Is there any product I can use to affix to the cooling system that might help not hurt this giant mileage engine?
Answers: I'm going to be honest with you if you attach this stuff to your car you will trade name the problem worse probably because it will clog up the heater core as powerfully and parts of the cooling system also,and make it run profusely hotter,your best bet is to not add anything to it,that stuff doesn't work too economically,it winds up costing you more than its worth to use it,psyche rather own to add the anti freeze to it as enjoy that in it,your best bet is to a short time ago have it repaired,perfect luck.
I think your assumsion is right and it is a blown leader gasket, the cooant maybe freshly burning away in the cylnder so your grease will never look milky, try to smell your exhaust for coolant smell, but I would do a cyl. leak down experiment to be sure. And no, do not add anything to your radiator resembling (stop leak) it just more trouble following on.
