Hi, I have a lease vehicle w/ Chrysler and I discovered a small chip in the windshield. I've have the chip treated so it does not develop into a crack. I am concerned about the chip. I don't want to be charged a dealership rate to replace the windshield. If absolutely obligatory I would have it done before I turn the vehicle within. I still don't want to waster the money if i don't have to. How can I predict what they will charge me for this, if anything, so that I can whip care of it before I turn it surrounded by?

Usually you are not charged if it is smaller amount than the size of a quarter. However, to be on the safe side, you can change the windshield yourself since you turn the car in.
