Hi Guys,
Just purchased my previously "new" but used vehicle one month ago. Stupidly enough, I didn't check to see if the cigarette lighter would work because I'm not a smoker, however would still resembling to plug electronic devices into it. Well, it doesn't work and I checked the fuses and everything seems to be okay.
What could the problem be?
How much would this cost?
Would Hyundai's "Second Owner-60K" warranty cover this?
Thanks so much.
Answers: I don't know more or less the 60k part, but most sports car places want to make you bright and breezy. Don't wait, move about back tomorrow and contact the service examiner. Tell him, show him, you bought the car near and the lighter doesn't' work and will they fix it under their 30 sunshine guarantee. If he tells you no, be in motion the the sales coordinator, tell him you merely bought the car, show him your paperwork and you didn't check this item. You're really glad with the coup¨¦ and would like to use the dealership for regular service (really put up for sale the part almost using them for routine maintenance and repair) and ask him if they can fix it for you lower than their warranty.
The worst that can happen is they'll voice no and you'll know not to buy from them again (and they know that too)
Many people don't want smoke contained by the car, so they thieve out the lighter cut tge cables within the back and put it final Before you do anything check your fuses, , if fuses are good verbs the ligther out and make sure the cable are connected in the backof it, if they are check for power at cable with a oral exam light ot a voltmeter , if there's power proceed to replace the ligther part. if you do it yourself you canget the part for $25- 50
