I have a 95 maxima and own installed a simple cone air filter in a place of a stock nouns box. The car has 2 nouns flow sensors, i have installed 1 but i dont know where the other one go, so it is just hanging loose. Now i enjoy "Check engine light on" (probably because of the sensor). DOES IT POSE ANY THREAT TO MY CAR? What should i do? Should i go to the shop and permit them get rid of the "check engine" light?
thank you
That check engine light will keep coming stern forever and ever until that air sensor is plugged in. You necessitate to find a way to plug it back surrounded by where it went. If it be in the pipe, then you stipulation to buy a sensor-plug (Spectre Parts makes a cheap one) and put it inline with your intake tubing somewhere and plug the sensor contained by. If it was on the airbox itself.. Well, find a piece of intake tubing nearest your cone filter, and do the same item.. A Sensor socket, and plug the sensor into it.
if there is no vacum to the sensor that is slack the light will stay on
install it on the tube between the air filter and the intake
after the light will go sour

Answers: I would answer this interrogate, but each time I answer I get a Yahoo Terms of Service Violation for seriously no basis.
