1991 grand am, 2.5L. a pipe carrying the coolant cracked roughly speaking 2 months ago and got it patched since they dont engender the part anymore. its be fine up until a week or two ago. the temp gague is flying up and down but nothing have leaked as far as i can explain to especially when sitting at a light. its be starting to go above 220 degree and then basically drop back down to where on earth it should be. should i be concerned? im a college student and i dont want to end up getting stranded somewhere
