Cool/warm nouns knob broke off/isn't working?

I just bought a 1998 plymouth breeze and i be going to put the defroster on and turn the cool/warm knob to warm for the defroster (in the picture below:)

but it resembling jammed and then i guess broke and i tried putting it backbone too cool but all that comes out is heat up air.
later if i would put it on the red mark and it would be even HOTTER nouns.

then the knob adjectives together just come off.
anybody know what i can do to fix it?

Answers: If the entire knob came past its sell-by date you should be able to see the metal switch. From nearby all you call for are some pliers and for now turn it that approach until you can get the unadulterated knob. Just use the pliers to turn it from cold to hot. The knobs can be found any at a junk yard(ask first to see if they enjoy your car year and make), dealership, and on the Internet. Best of luck!

superglue the broken module of the knob back into the slot where on earth it broke off from and agree to it dry. itll be back to common. i tried it once when one of my knobs broke past its sell-by date, this fixed it perfectly
