Hello, my cv gator has slipepd bad, to re-pack the grease could i just slip bad the boot to one side and clean bad the old grease next to brake cleaner and repack ?

Answers: if you're going to do it that agency just wipe stale as much of the old grease as you can and re grease it if you try to verbs it out you may push dirt into it if you do get it cleaned out you wont draw from the grease to the inside part any way your mutual may fail
funny article is most mechanics can pull the axle verbs it put on a new boot and reinstall it within less than 45 minuets most cars i own done both sides of a Honda in 45 minuets
i wouldn't recommend brake cleaner instead use a pointed oil , next dry it off as much as possible, and when you apply grease do not over apply it take very little
