My wifes W Reg Daewoo matiz SE+ engine management light comes on after a few minutes driving for no adjectives reason, car still seem to be running OK. The light goes past its sell-by date again after an engine restart but lights up again soon after so assume it must be related to the engine temp somehow.
Does anyone have any suggestions about what it can be as I hold been all round the local garages and nobody have the right kit/software to download the error codes. Or is there a way to obtain the code myself?

Answers: We have a vauxhall Zafira & have have the same problem. There was something to do beside the emissions which we had sorted but the lighting has remained on for some time. Our mechanic does have the right paraphernalia & it's registering as no fault so I guess it's just one of those things contained by our case. If you're in South Wales I can donate you our mechanic's number!
