Did Ted Weins Blow My Engine?

I took my 96 Ford Ranger to Ted Weins because I had a really discouraging oil bleed. They replaced the Cam and Crank Seals. The next year I paid and drove it home, 3.4 miles, parked over dark in the garage. Next morning... it started right up. I go in the house to tolerate it warm up a few minutes.. close to always.. go back outside, it be dead... and it never started again. Had it towed fund to them. They said it was the TENSIONER and it blew the engine... Did they own to remove and/or loosen the Tensioner to replace those seals.... ? Please insist on quickly..

Are you aware that NAPA totally sucks!?

Answers:    Yes...ring your lawyer...small claims court. even if they do agree to fix it, it would probably be surrounded by your best interest to notify your lawyer.....
I would also try solid hard to catch them to REPLACE the engine, not repair or rebuild, if indeed it is "blown up". If you do acquire them to fix it at their cost, its gonna be done with the cheapest parts and labor possable..... Iknow, Ive have it happen to me as a mechanic. it will never be right again.

My cross-question is,what can mete out a...

you didn't read out if it was the timming belt tensioner or complement belt tensioner, to tell you the truth they would hold had to touch both of them to replace your seal, they should have be able to notify if either one be bad when they did the seal,
