what are the difference between the transmission fluids?
some people say aloud transmission fluid are transmission fluids
some say aloud they're all different (atf +4, dex/merc etc etc)
so what's the difference?

detergents and other ingrediants used in lubricating the transmission are the big difference. especially surrounded by newer cars as some are going sythetic. You NEVER want to intermix or use the wrong fluid as it will burn yourclutches and eat your seals
