I have a 1997 cavalier. It squeals while idle but it does stop after about 10 min. of driving. I replaced the belt and it didn't backing. Do I need to replace the belt tensioner, or is nearby any way to stop the rumble? Please help!

I have see an alternator that had a fruitless bearing caught burning because that belt didn't slip. If you have a serpentine belt that is to say slipping, change the tensioner, IF you are sure it's the belt specifically squealing.
