Do not use any kind of sealent on head gaskets !! Buy mamifold gaskets at auto store .

Added: no sealant goes between the intake and head(s) either. The gaskets are installed dry. If it is a V8 or V6 beside rubber gaskets across the end webbing, they should be sealed next to a silicone gasket sealer.
