i have a 93 dodge dynasty next to about 90k miles on it...
my vehicle will start up fine, i can turn it off check out of it overnight start it again the next afternoon fine... but when i turn it off and it sits for a few days it will obligation to be jumped earlier it'll start again... like the mobile runs out of charge if i havent started it in resembling 2 or 3 days... if i jump it and drive it/let it run for a while its fine again and i can start minus any problems the next morning...
this is a fairly recent nouns and started a few months after i got my mobile replaced... could it be the new mobile or the alternator or what? is there a fuse somewhere surrounded by the car that doesnt shut rotten? how would i go give or take a few finding this out?
you obligation to take it and hold it checked, it can be the alternator draining it down some, but have a shop do a draw check on it,something perchance staying on like a small bulb specifically draining the power from it,and there's a good hit and miss you could have get a bad battery-operated,any parts store can check this for you though, take the alternator and the battery-operated to them, and they will check it free, then you,ll know at least possible if its one of those, good luck on it.
find the alternator checked
you're lucky that you got a "good" Dynasty
they be either ok or a lemon
Answers: there could be a great deal of things.
First, take the mobile out, have it charged up and nouns tested. if it passes, after you can eliminate that (if the battery-operated cables are loose, that could be the problem right near, a loose battery cable does not gross full contact and will not get a full charge from the alternator). subsequent get the alternator tested, you should be putting out more than 13.5 volts at decline. no more than 15.
If that's OK, then you might own a parastatic drain. get an ammeter rate for 10 amps. hook it between the negative battery-operated terminal the the cable. so you have to remove the terminal first.
you should see no more than 300milliamps. remember, the coup¨¦ computer AND the radio take power to keep hold of themselves alive.
if you see more than that, pull 1 fuse at a time until the current stratum drop to a normal reading. Now you've found the circuit to be exact at fault.
sometimes it could be the switch switch, , the keyswitch sometimes stays in contact going away the car energized, that will also suck power.
