I have a 2003 Dodge Durango near a 5 speed automatic and a 4.7 Liter engine. It is a 2WD. A person at a nouns shop told me if the Low-Reverse bands are too diluted, it has a sensor that will turn on the MIL, (check engine light). He also said I hold to get the nouns rebuilt to correct this. I am have a hard time believing this.
