We have a Nissan Maxima...my wife come home recently and get out. When she tried to get put a bet on in and drive wager on to work, the door wouldn't latch shut. They messed with the switch and the door and it finally shut...but now it won't depart. It doesn't matter if we lock it or unlock it (with knob or automatical door lock on the inside), it still won't open. What does this nouns like, and what's involved contained by getting it fixed (also, price-wise, what are we looking at)?
Answers: It could be several things. Since the door latch would not work right it could be jammed. You might have a bleak lock and have to replace it. One more item that i can think of and i.e. you might have a bleak actuator. It acts resembling a plunger so when you use your key to overt. The actuator opens to unlock you door. If that is to say your problem i would advice you to carry one at your local junk. For my coup¨¦ the dealer desires around 250. My local junk around 10.
