Dropped a push rod into the block?? What very soon??

Engine is a 1970 460 Ford Big Block. I noticed that adjectives of a sudden I have a outstandingly noisy rocker arm assembly on the gone bank (drivers side). So I pulled the spigot cover to have a look, and sure satisfactory, one rocker arm was no longer seated on its push rod. As soon as I touched the push rod, it slipped out of its form and fell into the block. Can't even begin to see it. Any motor head have any suggestions?

You will enjoy to pull the intake various and get it out that course. It can't fall any further than that. Sounds to me resembling it must have be broken to fall thru where on earth it did.

What prodcuts stops RUST on iron?

Remove the grease pan to retrieve the pushrod..if you can see the extremity from the top you may be able to retrieve near a magnet-on-a-stick.

Check to make sure pushrod isn't bent in the past reinstalling check rocker for cracks or wear... if you find severe wear on rockers or bent pushrod re place all of them...
