It looks like all our cars are missinig an essential metering gage on the dashboard. Aside from having an odometer, it would make best sense to add an engine run-time gage on the dash similar to what is already self used by electric generators and construction equipment. The gage shows the total amount of hours the engine has be running since brand new.
A car beside 20,000 miles could need a new engine while a motor with 150,000 miles could be running strong. Simply because the low mileage car spent too heaps hours idling away stuck in gridlock rush hour traffic. While the lofty mileage car is all highway mileage next to few stop and go miles.
Why don't the car companies include these gages already? It would even the playing field more in the used coup¨¦ market. People can then buy cars closer to what they are really worth. And it would clear it easier for mechanics to diagnose car problems.
