Engine running rough - 2001 Kia Optima?

Can anyone help me understand what happen? I filled my gas tank (from 1/4 full) the other year but the pump didn't shut off when the tank be full, and ended up overflowing. Now my engine is running really rough. Could it be because the tank be overfilled? Or could there be water surrounded by the gas? I added a bottle of Gas Line antifreeze to try drying up the water, and ran the engine for a while and while idle, it seemed to smooth out. I took it out on the road today but it is still outstandingly rough on acceleration. Any help or insight you could give within your answer would be greatly appreciated.thanks in credit. I just don't want to bring it to a mechanic if it is something I can correct here at home. Please keep surrounded by mind that I'm not automotive-savvy. Thank you.

Will JB Weld work on plastic?

Adding gas line anti-freeze is never the point to do. It can melt rubber components if it has methanol within it. Just add a bottle of Gum-out to the tank. If you are really lucky, you enjoy purchased a bad batch of gas. run back to where you bought it and ask if anyone else have complained about poor running. If you have no check engine oil lamp on, then you may have a dilapidated fuel pressure regulator. Have a pro check it out, it should cost nothing.

2ooo chev van how do you remove...

Answers:    Obviously the check engine light is on if it's running rough, I doubt the gas had anything to do near it, just a coincidence. I would take it to a reputable repair facility and own a professional diagnose the problem an give you an estimate.
