I have a 2004 Ford Explorer and the Engine server soon wispy is on. I have no clue why it's on. When I disconnect the battery-operated then re connect it will shut bad for like a couple of minutes later turns back on. SO do you guys own any idea why is it on? Thanks
Answers: It could be alot of things triggering the pallid, just removing the battery-operated cables for a re-set doesn't work for obd2 systems similar to yours. I would take it to a reputable repair facility and enjoy it scanned, usually this will run below 100.00 to determine the source of the problem.
Generally that happens when near is required maintence on it and can be reset. mostly this is when oil change etc. good luck
