Have a small block chev which is very topical ( 50 kms run )Drives well but when slowing right down 5 - 10 kms is a bit rough at times. Also brake while doing just about 5-10 kms and then stab the excellerator a bit and some times engine stalls.
Does anyone hold any clues ( 650 DP Holley carb ) 68 jets primary next to .85 power valve installed.
Answers: Sorry the spout size does not say squat short the heads and cam. but, a double pumper? is this a see engine? why are you driving a race engine at 5-10Kph? sounds similar to it is running a little rich, and flooding out.
Hay unless you enjoy a cam with a heave of about 10mm+ or you are race, a double pumper is a bunch of Hyp, and has hugely little use on the street accept waisting petrole
Sounds similar to the idle speed is too low.But check ignition timing as economically. If this is too far advanced it can cause rough rust & alter the correct idle speed.I don't know in the region of emission law in your country but you can also also adjust mixture for best fallow then adjust fallow speed at throttle linkage.
