Any idea how much can brakes for 2001, RX-300, 4WD costs, including replacing rotors and pad. this is first brake job and saloon has 40K miles. can this be done at other store resembling pep boys, firestone etc. or Dealer is recomended? thanks surrounded by advance
Answers: Dealer=NO unless you want to spend double and probably own your ride tied up for a couple days...pep boys is probably the cheapest I wouldnt trust them for anything fancy but brakes should be ok for them---plus they are usually open belated. Firestone will be expensive. if you need rotors, pad, etc for all 4 wheel you are probably looking at 400-500 at pep boys, probably 750-900 at the dealer.

Call around to a few shops for estimates, especially those that specialize surrounded by brakes. Dealer is not necessary for this. Cost could be in the order of $400 depending on what needs to be done.
