We have a 2007 Vauxhall Astra Energy Estate which generate a really funny smell once the Air Con is switched off.The closest I can descibe it is as a mixture between sweet,sour and damp smelly feet.When the Air con is on,no smell.Any planning please..... and by the way NO its not my foot or any of my passengers foot, so you jokers out here please spare me your funny(not) comments,ty...(_8(I)
Answers: it sounds like a coolant seepage in the electric fire core on it,but it being that current i wouldn't think that would be it,appropriate it back within and have it checked its unsullied,and they will check and repair it free of charge,that's what i recommend you doing for it ,good luck near it.
I answered this question a few days ago. It is a bacterial buildup surrounded by the evaporator case cause by the dampness from the condensation.. Auto supply stores hold products you can spray into the climate control intake duct to reduce or get rid of the problem for a few months.
