Can anyone give me an rough concept where this may be within the engine itself so I can check the level?
Answers: i own never checked the gearbox oil on a cinquecento but on most fiats the grease level bung is on the front of the gearbox around half track up. it is normally a full-size allan key bung, i give attention to you will need a 14mm allen switch to undo it. unfortunatly the drain bung is equal sort & is located arround the lower part of the diff so gross sure you are undoing the correct one. if you are not sure of its location i suggest you take it to a garage as alot of gearboxes enjoy bolts on the outside that look like they could be height bungs, but they actualy hold on the reverse idler gear & if you unknot that & the gear drops you are in big trouble.
hope this is some sustain
good luck
