i got a flat tire, and the mechanics said they could not patch it.....i know where on earth the hole is and its pretty small...is there anyway to patch it or should i enjoy someone else look at it...i cant think that the in one piece tire is ruined b/c of one little hole
If the hole is on the side of the tire, you obligation a new one. If it's on the bottom, it should be repairable.
I would trust the mechanic myself. but somehow if you got one that lied to you and it's of late a nail hole within the center of the tire. Go down to any autoparts store and they will sell repair kit. I would use the type that has a patch. Not the type that uses a rubber plug as they don't work as angelic. Only down side of the patch type is you have to give somebody a lift the tire off the rim.
Should be around 6 bucks. Then again if it could be done i would freshly take it to a tire shop and they would do it for 15.
