The purpose is to clean the sludge out of the engine. I heard some population put ATF before do an oil correct. What should be a correct process to do this? 3.2L engine. Any inputs would be greatly appreciated.
would be better to use Seafoam to verbs out engine. use as directed
Add one quart of ATF instead of grease at the oil change interval. You can run it this road for about 100 miles without mar. Drain and refill with fresh grease.
this a precarious thing to do atf not made to lube engine it does not have viscosty improvers and sludge removers that engine grease has and the two do not mix seals contained by engine different than trans just change grease and filter use good and proper grade grease
That being said, if you still have a feeling the need for a flush, there are specialize additives on the shelf at auto shops. You make a payment one and run the engine for the time it says on the container, to circulate it, at operating temperature, next immediately drain, while the oil is hot.
There is a intention one container says "oil flush", another say "ATF", and another says "antifreeze", and that is because they are formulated for specific job.
ok "The correct process is to not do it at all." yea i agree partially, but some empire end up not doing oil change when they need to and use cheap oils that end in problems like varnishing or sludge...
and "If near is a large sludge problem, you need it flushed contained by a shop. " gee... thanks, lets adjectives blow all our money to pay the "professionals"... end time i checked half of the "professionals" out there be incompetent clowns. if you have any kind of power-driven ability, dont waste your money.
presently this is a joke "If there is a short time sludge, a flush fluid can dislodge bits that then clog up small oil passage, creating a new problem." so what your exactly saying is our engines arent equipped beside an intake screen on the pump, and they arent equipped with an grease filter after the pump, they just pump all sorts of huge particles around the engine destroying it instantly. ugh. you have to be kid me!? where did you get adjectives about engines/cars?
lastly "That being said, if you still surface the need for a flush, there are specialize additives on the shelf at auto shops. You include one and run the engine for the time it says on the container, to circulate it, at operating temperature, later immediately drain, while the oil is hot." these additives are mostly any atf, or concentrated detergent packages that oil manufacturers supply to their oil, or the most common is kerosene, hell i hold even seen diesel fuel used.
"There is a reason one container say "oil flush", another says "ATF", and another say "antifreeze", and that is because they are formulated for specific jobs." do you follow adjectives the rules? do you think everything is magic and special? ATF is newly a mineral oil with a package wear and detergent mix, there is nothing special nearly it. the reason why it works so well to verbs an engine is because its detergent mix is very powerful and easily dissolves the varinish/sludge that can build contained by a transmission to keep it working unflawed.
i feel so ashamed when people similar to this try to balk and make people ponder there is only one means of access "their way".. no im sorry there are plenty of ways, and many of them work clearly and are sound. Let the man decide what to do instead of YOU TELLING HIM WHAT TO DO.

Answers: Do this at your own risk. There is no "correct process", this is one that is up to each individual. Some make a payment 1/4 of a quart, some add 1 quart, and some others even more or any where contained by between. To much and for to long can be hazardous. On my engine when I did it I ran 1 quart and I drove it for two weeks and that was three years ago, engine still going strong.
Again do this at your own risk.

How do you adjust spring breaks on...
That is old school man. Be attention to detail full. one way is to pore a cup of ATF down the Carb. with the engine running slowly. The other is to put one quart of ATF surrounded by the engine crankcase to bring the level up to the fill stain and run the engine at a idle for up to about 15 minutes next drain oil , change filter and append new oil There are very soon so many engine and oil stabilizer on the market now check them out.would be better to use Seafoam to verbs out engine. use as directed

The correct process is to not do it at all. You never flush an engine unless you have a demonstrated sludge problem. If within is a large sludge problem, you need it flushed within a shop. If there is a little sludge, a flush fluid can dislodge bits that afterwards clog up small oil passages, creating a bright problem. If you have been using competence oils, and doing regular changes, flushing should not be compulsory at all. That being said, if you still have a feeling the need for a flush, there are specialize additives on the shelf at auto shops. You make a payment one and run the engine for the time it says on the container, to circulate it, at operating temperature, next immediately drain, while the oil is hot.

Might be a stupid cross-examine......?
Be careful "flushing out" an engine. Even though you may clean some sludge out of it, you may verbs out other stuff and cause problems. A lot of high mileage engines enjoy a buildup of carbon on the piston rings and the motor flush will remove the carbon and cause the engine to start burning or using a lot of grease. Also you can knock loose a lot of debris and clog up grease passages which can be fatal for your engine. If you want to verbs out your engine, the only time I would advise it is when you're going to rupture it down for a rebuild. That's when you take the block and head and have them "boiled out" professionally. Other than that, I wouldn't recommend it at all.this a precarious thing to do atf not made to lube engine it does not have viscosty improvers and sludge removers that engine grease has and the two do not mix seals contained by engine different than trans just change grease and filter use good and proper grade grease
