I have no shuddering when driving at any speed, only a smooth ride. Its when I apply the brakes to slow down and stop, iget the convulsion, and I am almost positive that it is coming from the front wheels. I don't conjecture its a balance problem, it does not shake at no time other than when I apply the brakes. Thanks for an oppinion.
I'm not 100% on your vehicle and setup.
You could enjoy warped rotors or pad, you should check them or have someone talented of checking them that you trust. Brakes are very substantial, I could care smaller quantity if your vehicle moves, I care that you can stop.
If you own lower ball joint this could cause your problem as economically, as this is an indication that they are starting to lose their grease inside the boot.
ok one of three:
1) Your discs are sick from hard breaking etc.
2) Your pad have put on alert un-evenly (this is generally due to a abnormal disc)
3) Your breaking application is uneven (could possibly be a blocked/broken/snapped/cracked hose)
Answers: Warped front rotors.
Most likely the brake rotors obligation to be turned or replaced. If they are warped they will create vibration when you apply the brakes. Ask any brake repair shop to verify this.
