My1998 Ford F-150, 118,000 miles. My battery deity flashes off &on. adjectives my lights constantly flicker, dashlights, headlights & domelights. Voltage needle also constantly moves between in the region of 10 and 15 volts. Truck always starts, Voltage meter never go higher or lower later normal but is the solely guage needle that constantly moves?? Truck have new freestyle, and alternator, cables are verbs. Engine is spotless. Any ideas??
Answers: This sounds close to a bad ground! Check the ground cable between the engine and truck body, and check where on earth the negative battery-operated cable attaches to the engine! You may want to trace the positive cables fund to make sure that the connections are not loose nearby also!
