Answers: The Idle Air Control Valve desires 2 b Cleaned - IF it's Fuel Injected, unless it was build in the 1900's - could b a Vac. mortgage. Could b a fuel filter. OR it's ^ { pants } are 2 tight !
Based on your description it sounds close to the fuel pump may be going out. I would have the system pressure tested. Should read above 40 psi.
