My wife's 2003 Chevrolet Cavalier front and back driver's side blinkers aren't working. Her driver's side rear blinker go out around a year ago and I replaced it and it worked. The front left has other worked
I know there is a recall on the put money on turn signals for her model car (which hasn't been fixed), but be wondering if it was a fuse or something if it affected both?
Thanks!
Check the fuse. If that doesnt work, you need to change the relay beneath the dash. It costs a few dollars.
It's not a fuse if the right side works. Check and change the bulbs, should pinch all of ten minutes if that.
Answers: The easiest means of access to check to see if the problem is in the turn signal switch or in the bulbs is to turn on the 4 channel (hazard) flashers and look at each bulb. If the bulb works with the 4 path, then the problem is in the switch. If bulb(s) do not work near the 4 way lights, then replace the bulbs.
The threat lights and turn signals are on separate circuits, because you want to be able to use the hazards lacking having the ignition on (in case of breakdown) and the turn signals simply need to work when the engine is on!

the hark back to will replace the rear taillight sockets. and that should fix the rear. this have nothing to do with the front. probably purely a bad bulb I had duplicate problem with my 2000. I had to replace the in one piece rear unit. I bought it online for just about $30.00. Before I did that, my blinkers and my rear turn signal on that side acted like they be possessed. Sometimes working, sometimes not, they would even start working sometimes when no one was surrounded by the car.
Good Luck!

it might be a fuse or it could be just a insubstantial bulb!Check the fuse. If that doesnt work, you need to change the relay beneath the dash. It costs a few dollars.
