Nobody mentioned a bent joystick! This could do it also, - try swapping the front tire to the back on that side, and see if it still does the same point. If it does it is not in the tires or wheels, -- here is something wrong with alignment or suspension!
Now as for tires,- a tire with a tattered casing could do this ,- if you spin it, you will see a "bounce" in tire as it revolves, -- a suitable tire should look pretty much the same as it turns, - in similar to manner, a bent wheel will be noticeable when you watch it turn, since the edge of helm (and) tire will not "track" smoothly! Don't forget the wheel has an inside brink and an outside edge,- both might not be bent at same time!
Another good indication for destabilized casing (what happens is that it sort of get an "s" turn in it and possibly a lump also)! At slow speed you may feel a short time tugging back and forth on the steering wheel, - or on final it may make vehicle do slight "hula" at very slow speeds, and the more severe the cover is damaged the worse it will shake back and forth!
And if covering bad the tire is close to blowing out, - so better get it fixed asap!
get the same problem on my 93 there are sevarl things on a miniven that can evolve most common is a boot to crack and you lose gresa on you drive shat cv axle then it starts to convulse because of wear..the other is you top motor mount could be busted causing etra weight on that axle and cause it to wobble...thes are not to hard to fix i was terrified as hell but the mini vans are noe that bad to work on..ive had three adjectives junkers and one really nice 93 model im always keeping my eyes out for one cheap..my 93 currentyy has that problem you speskoff..and the bring is a sliglty woren axle Do you live in an area near snow? If so, you may have some snow built up in your joystick or suspension. Take a flashlight to it and see if you can see anything. If you do, take it to a car mop up (either automatic or do-it-yourself) and spray the underside really good. If you go to an automatic wipe up, buy their deluxe wash, or one that will spray the chassis/underside of the car. When you first jump in, barely inch over the underside bath, focussing on the front end or wherever it feel like the car is shaking. If nought else, at least you end up near a clean car! :)
