Fuel cleaner?

does fuel and engine cleaners such as prestone and stp actually clean the system or are they scam?

I enjoy a neighbor who was a mechanic/engineer for many years and he swears by STP. I've used it myself on engines that I thought have clogged injectors or had rough idles and it have always seemed to back, it made me a believer.

Use Lucas fuel injector cleaner and pour it in the gas tank and it also help to use a gas that has additives in it approaching marathon, they use STP additives in the gas to back clean your injectors.

Answers: they do clean the systems while they are cleaning the systems you may notice your motor working harder while its cleaning, but it does do the job, don't get the cheap 1-3 dollar one receive the more expensive that will do a good job
